How to start?
To join Pi Network, download the official app on your phone (iOS or Android) and create your account. If you need a referral, you can use: adehon.
Then, just tap the main button once every 24 hours to mine your first Pi. Your phone isn’t used in the background — the process is simple and quick. Later, when the network fully migrates to the mainnet, you’ll need to complete KYC (identity verification) to secure your account and actually use your Pi.

Project background
Pi Network was launched in 2019 by a team of Stanford University graduates. The project is led by Dr. Nicolas Kokkalis, computer science and blockchain specialist, and Dr. Chengdiao Fan, researcher in social sciences and collaborative technologies.
Their goal is to make crypto accessible to everyone, removing the technical and financial barriers that exist with Bitcoin or Ethereum. More than 50 million users already participate in mobile mining, making it one of the largest blockchain communities in the world.
Pi Network is still in development, but its ambition is clear: build a digital currency truly usable in daily life, thanks to an inclusive and secure approach.
